Music

Jon enjoyed listening to music, particularly on long trips. Though he enjoyed a variety of bands from the classic rock era – Foreigner, Jethro Tull, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and more – his favorite was undoubtedly Supertramp.

If half of his music collection was classic rock, the other half – or more – was Disney music, from the parks and movies.

Books

Jon was an avid reader of “hard” science fiction, particularly Larry Niven and Isaac Asimov.

Television & Film

Though Jon’s reading was literary and scientific, his television favorites balanced that out – he enjoyed watching reality series such as Speeders, The World’s Worst Drivers, and Cops. He was known for “inflicting” series such as Mongrels, Ranma 1/2, and Meet the Feebles upon others!
