Me and a friend were looking through old memories from past Furcons, mostly the earliest from the late 90s to early 2000s.
And Jon was a recurring figure amonst the pictures. He seemed beloved by many, often found pictured sharing hugs and group photos with attendees, it was very wholesome. And I’m glad to of come across this website to pay my respects and thanks for him and his family preserving those memories for strangers like myself to find.
While researching the beginnings of the furry fandom with a friend, we stumbled up on many photos from the late 90s to early 2000s, an era before I was born. Jon was seen frequently through many archives, lively and smiling in every image.
I wanted to leave my respects and thanks Jon for contributing to a fandom that has brought me so much joy. May he rest in peace.
